Cattle are washed and groomed the day before a sale, but how do you freshen them up the morning of? Watch Jon Gevelinger, judge, clinician and owner of JG Cattle & Coaching, prepare cattle for a sale using a cattle fogger. So, how does it work?
Fill your cattle fogger with water or a mixture of water and alcohol, and attach the livestock fogger to your cattle blower hose nozzle to produce a fine mist. Use only one motor on your cattle blower so you can control how much liquid you’re applying. If you do use alcohol in your livestock fogger mix, be sure to go back over your cattle with some oil or ProCharge to prevent hide from becoming dried out.
