Clipping a Topline

In this video, Jon Gevelinger gives his tips and tricks for clipping a topline. After finding the high points on your calf (usually the shoulder, the top of the jump muscle, and the tailhead), you can gradually sculpt and blend the hair between those points for a smooth look. Remember to prep your calf before starting, and don’t be afraid to use your blower throughout the clipping process. These tips will help create a smooth and seamless topline.
